At the moment if I click on a child element, the parent is highlighted. This makes sense when the child element is self closing, or has no indent, but when the child element has an indent that should be highlighted rather than the parents indent.

Hopefully the attached screenshot explains what I'm talking about a bit better.

Based on referrals, there seems to be quite a large number of Chinese and Japanese users. Since these are supported VS languages, it is easy to provide localized versions of Indent Guides.

I don't know these languages, so a machine translation would be the first step, probably with a specific request for help with corrections. Otherwise, volunteers would be appreciated :)

May be fixed by restarting VS.

No crash; just displays in the results that the settings failed to import/export. Judging by the amount of text that does get written, it's probably in my Load/Save routines.

This occurs regularly in C#, and I don't know why.

In C++ it occurs when there is a single empty line at the end of the block. Adding whitespace is sufficient to fix, since then the start of the line is not treated as visible. This may need a very specific workaround, since there doesn't seem to be a general fault.

Since being updated to v12 via automatic update, I have no ident guides showing and changing the options and saving causes Visual Studio 2010 to crash.

Since the last update, my visual studio doesn't display the intend guides any more.
I tried uninstall and reinstall, with different version to but nothing solved the issue so far.

This is because there are two commands with different icons (for Dev10 and Dev11).

Need to completely remove the one that is not being used.
Comments: Next release will build Dev10 and Dev11 separately, which will resolve the issue.

I'm not sure what I've done. After upgrading to v12, only my first indent guide would highlight, and then after changing the highlight type to be a solid glow, nothing is highlighting at all. Switching the highlight types doesn't fix anything.
